Whereas the state of Sudan is in a state of almost constant poverty and whereas the people of Sudan have next to no say in their government, and whereas the united states is a symbol of freedom and democracy, therefore be it resolved that the united states not only endorse Sudanese rebellion, but support any Sudanese rebels against their oppressive government.
A Resolution to Repeal the 22nd Amendment
By: Senator Chauncey Lee
Whereas, currently any president may not serve over two terms, or eight total years of service due to the twenty second amendment and whereas the amendment adversely affects the decision of voters across the United States and whereas it prevents voters from exercising their right to elect a president they feel has done an exemplary job. Therefore, be it resolved by this Student Congress here assembled that the twenty second amendment be repealed, and for the change to take into effect directly after the 2nd term of the current president.
Resolved: The United States should avoid nation building in Southern Sudan and instead devote its resources towards Tunisian democracy.
Whereas Southern Sudan cannot grow if it is hampered by the autocracies of the north.
Whereas supporting fledgling democracies in the north will cripple any dictator’s ability to intimidate and control Southern Sudan.
Whereas supporting the Tunisians in their ascent towards democracy will transform the African landscape and enable new peace-inclined countries to take the role commonly played by the United States.
Therefore, be it resolved that the United States help restructure Tunisian government in order to promote stability in the region.
Respectfully submitted:

Whereas many think that we should repeal the 22nd amendment, which limits the terms of a president to two terms, and
Whereas Democrats are thinking to repeal the 22nd amendment to try to keep Obama in the White House until he retires, and
Whereas if this amendment is repealed, then slowly, over time, Congress could probably take control of the other two branches of government and could potentially form a dictatorship.
Therefore, be it resolved by this Student Congress here assembled that we should not repeal the 22nd amendment.
Whereas: 98 % of the Southern Sudanese voted to secede from Sudan; and
Whereas: The United States is pro-democratic and should want every country to be that way; and
Whereas: Southern Sudan could be a great ally if other countries in the Middle East, like Egypt and Jordan turn to the Muslim brotherhood.
Therefore, be it resolved by this student Congress here assembled that the United States should encourage Southern Sudan to become independent, for the safety of its citizens.

A Resolution to Repeal the 22nd Amendment vy Senator TJ Hall, Hanover High School
Whereas the 22nd amendment limits the terms of the presidency to 2 four year terms, and whereas the people are the ones who elect the president every four years, and whereas it should be the people‘s decision to decide how long the president remains in office, and whereas the president cannot become a dictator because the people would just vote him out in the next election; therefore, be it hereby resolved by this Student Congress here assembled that the 22nd Amendment should be repealed.
